Dr. Subodh Shivde is the founder consultant of the Urology Department at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and Research Center in Pune. Formerly he was a consultant at the King’s College and Medical School in London.
Dr. Subodh Shivde was trained at the prestigious premiere college Seth G.S Medical College, attached to the King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. He completed his masters in General Surgery in 1992.
He stood first in the All India Medical Examination for super speciality and then successfully completed MCh in Urology Surgery in 1995. He went to the United Kingdom for higher training in Urological sub-specialities like Endourology, Laprascopic Urological Surgery, Urological Cancer Surgery, Renal Transplantation Surgery and surgery for Urinary Incontinence.
Dr. Shivde acquired fellowships from the Royal College Of Surgeons Of Glasgow and Edinburgh(FRCS) and successfully completed the training for urology accreditation resulting in FRCS(Urology). He is one of India’s first practicing urologist to be fully accredited in the United Kingdom and the European Union and has been awarded the FRCS(Urology) and the FEBU(Fellow Of European Board Of Urology).
